Pallavi Pradhan, who has been part of many shows, including Lipstick, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni, Karam Apnaa Apnaa and Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, is currently playing the role of Surili in Life OK’s show Bahu Humari Rajni Kant. She talks about it and more.
Do you know Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi?
Yes, I am comfortable speaking Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. Marathi is my mother tongue and Hindi is our national language. As far as Gujarati language is concerned, I have been working with the Gujarati fraternity since 1993.
What character do you play in Bahu Humari Rajni Kant?
I am playing the role of Surili. She is a Bengali married to a Punjabi man. I play a modern mother-in–law.
How difficult is it doing comedy?
You can make any one cry by putting glycerine in the eyes or just slapping a person, but it is very difficult to make a person laugh.
What do you want to convey to your fans?
I am really obliged that I am getting all the love of my fans.
