Pets’ day out at Bal Bharati Public School

Pets presented their antics, skills and fitness as residents brought a variety of breeds of dogs during a Pet Show organised at Bal Bharati Public School, Dugri, today.

Dr Jaspreet Mauj, city-based veterinary doctor who also adjudged the animals, stressed on the importance of pets in our daily life and guided the participants on how to keep their canine companions healthy and happy. Sunny Sekhon, a dog trainer, interacted with the students and gave them tips to handle pets in a proper way.

School students brought their pets which included different breeds, including rottweiler, labradors, poms, pugs, dachshund, american bully, bull dogs and other pets, including fish, birds, rabbit and cats as well. They exhibited the coordination and special skills of their furry family members.

Principal Punam Dogra said pet shows were organised to sensitise the students towards animals.
