Pharmaceutical company introduces drug for dengue

Chandigarh, October 13

Doctors and officials of a pharmaceutical company today introduced a medicine for dengue patients. The drug is prepared with extract of papaya leaf juice, today.

Dr KH Nagabhushan, vice-president of medical services, Micro Laboratories, said for ages patients consume juice crudely extracted from papaya leaves with no clear dosage specified, that could have a detrimental impact.

Claiming that the medicine prepared by the company with the name of Caripill using papaya leaf juice extract has received positive feedback from doctors. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
