Playing a Haryanvi girl

Sukirti Kandpal, who has been seen in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Kaisa Ye ishq Hai, Ajab Sa Risk Hai and Dilli Wali Thakur Girls, has now entered Zee TV’s show Tashn-E-Ishq as Rajjo. She shares experiences from her journey so far.

How did this role come about?

The production house reposed faith in me and I am happy to be selected for this show. It is a powerful character to essay.

What is the character all about?

I play a Haryanvi girl, Rajjo. It is different from what I have done earlier. The look is traditional and in sharp contrast to my glamorous look, across the previous shows. It is an intersting role and I hope that the viewers will like Rajjo, who blindly trusts people and later bears the consequences of her gullible nature.

How important is Tashn-E-Ishq for you?

This show is important for me and I am quite excited to portray the challenging character in the show. If viewers accept me as Rajjo, it will be a big achievement.

Has your life changed after taking on a daily soap?

I have been too busy with life and have no time for daily routines.

Has the working pattern of television changed?

There has been a big change. Today viewers can watch different shows on channels. They have a choice now. Decisions are taken quickly.

What inspires you?

My fans, who expect something better from me each time. The appreciation from the viewers is the most important. It gives me inner power and strength.
