Plot sale: Former Punjab Infotech official booked

Mohali: The police have booked a former senior executive director of the estate division of Punjab Infotech, RK Sangwan, in connection with the sale of a plot. The case involved an amount of Rs 4.12 crore. The matter was investigated by the economic offences wing of the police after which the case was registered. The police said that a resident of Phase III A , Sukhbir Singh Shergill, had lodged a complaint. — OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
