Prof Negi is pro-VC of Garhwal varsity

Prof Devender Singh Negi who has been appointed pro Vice-Chancellor of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar.

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna (HNB) Garhwal University Vice-Chancellor Prof Jawahar Kaul has appointed Prof Devender Singh Negi as the first pro Vice-Chancellor of the university.

Garhwal University was accorded the status of a Central university on January 15, 2009. Prof Negi has been serving as a special officer in the office of the Vice-Chancellor since December 2014. He has served as a professor in the Department of chemistry of the university.
