PSMSA to launch stir
Mandi Ahmedgarh, August 2
The Punjab State Ministerial Services Association (PSMSA) has announced to launch coordinated struggle to impress upon the government to accept their demands and implement decisions taken about their service conditions long time ago.
Draft plan for the enhanced struggle will be taken at a state-level meeting scheduled to be held at Ludhiana on August 8.
Union leaders led by Gurpreet Khatra and state general secretary Kulwant Singh Chahal said office-bearers and activists of the outfit were upset that the state government led by CM Parkash Singh Badal has failed to implement decisions which have been taken regards their demands years ago.
They alleged that the CM Badal had been avoiding meeting the delegation of the union. “The CM had assured to implement decisions taken about some demands in a meeting held with the union over two years, nothing concrete was done ,” said Khatra and Chahal. — OC
