Chandigarh, June 11 

Panjab University (PU) has declared the result of PU CET (UG) Entrance Test 2016. The detailed result is available on PU website http://results.puchd.ac.in/.

Kanvi Sharma with 286.5 marks out of 360 topped in physics, chemistry and biology, Vivek Panghal with 227.5 marks out of 360 topped in physics, chemistry and maths, Hamandeep with 209 marks out of 360 topped in physics, chemistry and biotechnology and Shivank Bali with 196.5 marks out of 360 topped physics, chemistry and computer science.

Niharika and Harshpreet Singh and Anshul Kataria secured second and third positions in physics, chemistry and biology, and 

Jaskiran Kaur and Saksham Mahajan secured second and third positions in physics, chemistry and maths.

PU CET (UG) Entrance Test 2016 was conducted by the PU on June 1 for admission to B.Pharmacy (Credit Based Semester System), B.Sc. (Hons. School) at the PU and BHMS at Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Sector 26, Chandigarh.

It may be recalled that 16,699 students had applied for different under graduate courses of the PU under CET (UG).
