Over 50 budding Kathak dancers, including child prodigies, participated in a classical spectacle ' Radha Ki Unkahi Prem Gatha' by choreographer and director Dr Samira Koser under the aegis of the Pracheen Kala Kendra at Tagore Theatre here today.
Negating the traditional mythological view about the untold story of Radha's eternal love, Dr Samira brought in focus the unconditional submission of Radha to Lord Krishna as her divine consort and later suffered as a deserted soul.
The lavish production casting disciple dancers from 4 to 50 years performed varied roles to depict episodes from Radha's early childhood to her old growing age, playful times with prankster Krishna, her marriage and remorseful fag end of life till the ultimate moksha granted by her divine Lord Krishna.
Adequately rehearsed dance movements with minor over stepping, Colourful costumes, soothing music by Pandit Jwala Prashad embellished the production.
