Rajoana writes to President

Patiala, August 22

Balwant Singh Rajoana, a death row convict lodged in Patiala Central Jail, has written to the President urging him to decide on his mercy plea pending since 2012.

Rajoana, in his seven page letter, said he was waiting for the decision over his mercy plea since 2012 after passing through a long legal process in the Beant Singh assassination case. — TNS
