Global workspace provider Regus announced the launch of its first business centre in Chandigarh earlier this week. Located in Godrej Eternia, in Industrial Area 1, Regus will be offering business space to professionals in Chandigarh. The new launch is part of the company’s expansion plans for the country and especially for the growing market in North India.

Speaking on the occasion Harsh Lambah, country manager for Regus in India, said, “Over the past 10 years that we have been in India, we have seen a tremendous shift in the way businesses operate in the country. We have noticed that more and more organisations in Chandigarh are opting for smarter, flexible working arrangements for higher productivity, lower overhead costs and employee satisfaction. The North market shows huge growth possibilities and we would very much like to tap that potential.” Regus has during this year launched new business centres in several Tier II markets such as Lucknow, Coimbatore, Kochi and Vizag making it clear that these markets are priority. Likewise, the organisation has also added to the number of existing business centres in key metros such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. Regus has 77 business centres across 15 cities in India.
