Ring road around Ambala to ease traffic

Cabinet Minister Anil Vij has said the work on constructing a ring road around Ambala would begin soon. He said, “The project has been sanctioned by the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and the work on the project would start soon.”
Vij held a meeting with officials concerned at his residence here on Saturday to discuss some changes in the drawing of the road.
The ring road is expected to reduce traffic congestion and give respite to the commuters. It would connect NH-1, Panjokhra road, Chandigarh Highway, Ambala-Jagadhri Highway and Ambala-Hisar Highway.
