Rohit Dhiman makes it to Indian soft tennis team

Rohit Dhiman, a student of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, has been selected in the soft tennis men’s team to represent the nation in the 15th World Soft Tennis Championship going to be held at the DLTA, RK Khanna Tennis Stadium in New Delhi from November 16 to 22.

Countries, including Japan, Korea, Thailand, Phillipines, Mangolia, Chinese Taipei, Nepal, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Hungary, Polland, Pakistan, Brazil, North Korea, Germany, USA and India are expected to participate in the championship. Earlier, Rohit won bronze medals in the 2nd Junior National Soft Tennis Championship at Ahemedabad in 2014 in Individual singles and doubles event and Senior National Soft Tennis Championship at Ludhiana-2015. He also won a gold medal in the senior national soft tennis championship at Ludhiana in the individual singles category.
