In the National Science Drama Festival being held at Khalsa Girls Senior Secondary School, RS Model Senior Secondary School stood first.

The event was organised by the National Council of Science Museums under the guidance of Paramjit Kaur Chahal, District Education Officer and Santokh singh Gill, Science Supervisor.

The second position was bagged by Government Primary School, Boparai Khurd. The third place position was jointly secured by Delhi Public School and Government Senior Secondary School, Pudian.

The winning school will now participate in the state-level competition. 

The main theme of the plays was 'Science and society' with various sub-themes such as 'Life of scientist', 'Food security and nutrition', 'Make in India' and 'Green energy'. Students from class VI to X participated in the event. The event will continue tomorrow.
