Doraha, April 8
Green Grove Public School, Mohanpur, organised a salad, snack and drink making competition. Young chefs showcased their skills in inter class salad, snack and mocktail preparing competition.
The chairperson of the school, Satinderjit Kaur Jolly, was the chief guest and presided over the function. Judges of the competition were Gagandeep Singh and Navneet Kaur.
Students used their innovative ideas to prepare the salads and snacks. Vegetables were cut and shaped in style and beverages were also served. Parents were also invited by the school to encourage the young chefs.
There was a special power point presentation on dining ettiquettes and nutritious value of salads. Judges appreciated the efforts of the students.
The President, JPS Jolly and Principal S George made their presence to boost the energy of the students. Jolly said that the taste buds of little ones should be satisfied at home so that they stay away from junk or unhealthy fast food.
