Chandigarh shooter Ganemat Sekhon has been selected to represent the nation in the Junior World Cup to be held in Suhl, Germany and eighth International Junior Shotgun Cup to be held in Orimatilla, Finland.

Both the championships will be held in the end of April. Sekhon, a class X student of Vivek High School, Sector 38, took up the sport in September last year. “I will try to perform well in my maiden international championship. I am thankful to my school and parents for their support and encouragement,” she said.
