Chief Minister Harish Rawat has entrusted the task of probing the allegation of sexual exploitation of inmates of the Nari Niketan at Dehradun to a special investigation team (SIT) headed by an SP rank official of the police.
The Chief Minister gave these directions at a meeting called by him following allegations of exploitation of inmates of the
Nari Niketan.
He said the safety and security of the inmates should be ensured and better facilities be provided at the Nari Niketans across the state.
He said if irregularities were found, strict action would be taken against
the guilty.
