SPIC MACAY organised a classical music concert at the Gautam Group of Colleges here today.

Sitar soloist Shubhendra Rao along with tabla player Shri Prabhu enthralled college students with his mesmerising performance.

Shubhenra said, “India is known for its rich cultural heritage and classical music around the world and we should not forget our roots. Music is divine and we should connect our soul to it.”

Rajneesh Gautam, college principal, honoured the artistes and said SPIC MACAY was creating awareness among students about the classical music.—OC
