Khalanga Boys beat Pachwadoon 3-1 in a one-sided match in the 73rd Lala Nemidas Memorial District Football League here today.
For Khalanga Boys, Rohit scored the first goal in the 10th minute of the match. Pachwadoon did make a comeback when Subham brought an equalizer in 35th minute. But Khalanga subsequently mounted the pressure and scored its second and third goals. Both these goals were scored by Amit Aswal in 40th and 45th minutes of the match with final score card reading 3-1 in Khalanga’s favour.
The second match between Thakurpur Football Club and Chandrabani XI ended in a draw with both sides scoring two goals each. For Thakurpur, Nitin and Mukul scored goals in 6th and 26th minutes, respectively. For Chandrabani, Anurag and Shubham scored the goals in the 5th and 46th minutes, respectively.
