Teams of Baichung Bhutia Club from Shivalik School, Sector 41, Chandigarh, and YPS School, Mohali, bagged the Panchkula Winter Football League in the senior and junior category, respectively, at Satluj Public School, Sector 4.

In the senior category, Baichung Bhutia Club of Shivalik School defeated Brotherhood Football Club by a solitary goal. Striker Vikas posted the lone goal in the 34th minute of the match. In the same category, Rudra was announced the best player while Vishal Chaudhary was given the best scorer award. In the junior category, Baichung Bhutia Club of Yadvindra Public School, Mohali, beat Bhichung Bhutia Club, Panchkula, 3-0 to bag the championship. Alankar posted two goals while Saumya added another goal in team’s winning tally. Alankar was named the best player while Adesh was named the best goalkeeper.
