China has selected historical adventure film Xuanzang, which also stars Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, as its official entry for the 89th Academy Awards. We are sure this is definitely a big high for the actor. Sonu shared the good news on his social media.

When contacted the actor, Sonu exclusively told us, “It feels great that your hard work is appreciated with such an honour. Really hope all the efforts that everyone had put in, should be rewarded and we win it. Even if we didn’t, still it’s a huge honour to be selected at such a big platform. So, finger crossed."
