St Joseph’s Academy wins Hindi debate

St Joseph’s Academy won the Annual Inter-School Hindi Debate organised by Summer Valley School here today.
The topic for the debate was ‘Aaj Ankon ke daur main Pratibha Pichadti Jaa Rahi Hai’.
Mrinalini Dhyani of Summer Valley School bagged the first position in the individual category while Pramanshu Yadav of St Joseph’s Academy and Ayushi Dutta of Touch Wood School were adjudged the runners-up.
Cambrian Hall School Principal Dr SC Biala was the chief guest on the occasion. A panel of three judges comprised of People Association of Hill Area Launchers (PAHAL) chairperson Kamla Pant, Kurmanchal organisation vice-president Daya Bisht and Asian School Hindi HOD Madhur Lata Aswal.
St Thomas College, Hilton School, Selaqui School, St Joseph’s Academy, Touch Wood School, Carman School, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy, Welham Girls’ School, RIMC, Cambrian Hall and Summer Valley School, Unison World School, Kasiga School, St Jude’s, Pestleweed College and Heritage School participated in the event
The participants presented their marvellous oratory skills and enthralled the judges as well as the audience.
Biala encouraged children to participate in such competitions. He also gave away the prizes to the winners.
