Stepping up for war
After it was announced that Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, fans of the actresses have been going crazy wondering about their role, look etc.
One piece of good news is that the actresses will be seen sharing the dance floor, and matching
thumka for thumka in the same frame.
The last time the two ace actresses competed on the dance floor was in SLB’s own Devdas and that was 13 years ago. This
time Dips and PC will do the same.
Choreographer Remo said, “I choreographed it myself. One thing I was very particular about was not taking any reference points. I would dedicate this song to Saroj Khan. She is my inspiration for anything classical.” Remo has no favourites. “Both are fantastic dancers, so it will be difficult for me to pick and choose as to who is better.”
