Students showcase cultural diversity on stage
Mohali, April 2
Bollywood stars Mukul Dev and Oshin Brar enthraled the audience at Aryans 9th Cultural Extravaganza ‘Roshaan’ held at Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, today.
The function, in which students of BTech, MBA, BBA, BCA, BEd, BA, BCom, GNM and diploma students participated, witnessed various colorful cultural items, representing the states including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir and North East etc.
The function commenced with patriotic dance on Vande Matram and was followed by cultural bonanza including folk dances bhangra, giddha, naati, kashmiri dance, western dance, jhumar, fusion dance and solo songs. A skit on Shaheed Bhagat Singh was also performed by the students. — TNS
