Summer Valley School celebrated its 22nd founder’s day here today. The ceremony started with a welcome address by Principal Col Jaswinder Singh.
Cultural programmes, comprising of psinging and dancing were the attractions of the day. This was followed by a skit, staged by tiny tots who performed on famous Lion King play. Students, who have scored above 90 per cent, were given scholarships worth Rs 4 lakh. The programme concluded with a prize distribution function. School director Abhya Vasu presented a vote of thanks.
Trophies were presented to students in various categories. Laj Wasu Memorial Trophy for gentle and caring character was presented to Priyanjana Wason and Rakshita Vats. Prem Oberoi Memorial Trophy for spirit of Summer Valley was given to Antriksha Bhandari. Vanshika Saxena got S Wasu Memorial Trophy for Best Sportsmen, and Prachi Bhandari was awarded the Director’s Trophy for Honest, Gracious, Hard Working and Aspiring to be a Good Citizen. Principal’s Trophy for all round accomplishment was given to Abhishek Chaddha.
