Theft bid in police station, 2 arrested
Abohar, March 2
Two miscreants were nabbed after they allegedly removed some parts of vehicles stacked in the open yard at a police station taking advantage of the dark on the national highway.
Raziasar police station in charge Dinesh Saharan said Balbir Singh and Khet Singh were spotted fleeing with batteries which they had removed from four heavy vehicles that had been impounded in various cases. The guard on duty, Gokul Chand, did not notice them entering the complex but they were caught while trying to flee with the stolen material. Preliminary investigation indicated that both were drug addicts. — OC
