The Northern frontier were declared winners of the fifth Inter-frontier Rock-climbing Competition of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) that concluded at the ITBP combat wing today.
P Thundup was declared the best climber of the tournament. Around 96 participants from six frontiers participated in the competition held in Mussoorie. Deputy Director, ITBP Academy, DIG Devender Singh gave away citations and awards to the winners. The events organised balance climbing on natural rock, followed by jumar climbing, prusic knot climbing, piton climbing and cat crawl.
