Twins design software for Microsoft Hololens

Inshant and Nishant, twins from Bihar recently gave a presentation on  a  software developed by them for Microsoft device, Hololens at Chandigarh.

The software developed by the twins, is an attempt to enhance Student-Teacher Interaction and make the learning process easy and effective with the use of Microsoft Hololens, a Mixed Reality device.

“We have currently embedded it with the study of human stomach for biology students. Once you wear the Hololens, you will be able to see 3-D visual of the stomach with in-depth details and labeling. The experience is different from virtual reality where the whole environment gets manipulated.

The mixed reality which is the combination of hardware and software will enable to place the 3-D visual in the real environment with the possibility to enlarge, drag, click as well as move the object”, " explained Ishant an Information Technology engineering student at CGC Landran.

The Hololens has been sponsored by a foreign investor as they have collaborated with a Canadian company (EXVR LABS).

“The application of this software is not just limited to academic curriculum; it can be utilised further in medical, engineering and architecture sector. This will also be a boon to the Research sector as well”, they added.

The twins came up with this idea after realising that they have dyslexia, which is a learning disorder affecting those areas of brain which process language.

They have already been recognised for developing a biometric smartcard, server-protection framework and a few others.

Theduo has set-up their own venture named ‘Raju Bros Softech Private Limited’ to provide the needed infrastructure for holographic visualisation for academic and industrial use.  — TNS
