Jammu, October 6
Army Public School (APS), Udhampur, today organised an inter-school quiz competition on its premises. Delhi Public School, Udhampur; Brahmrishi Bawra Vidya Peeth; APS, Dhar Road, and Happy Model Higher Secondary School participated in the event.
The competition was aimed at developing knowledge and excellence among students. Several questions were asked to students on different topics including, current affairs, famous quotes, science. The host school claimed the first position while Braham Rishi Bawra Vidya Peeth bagged the runner-up trophy.
Col Jagdish Gadekar was the chief guest who congratulated the winners and runners-up teams. He presented them the trophies and certificates. He spoke on the growing importance of general knowledge for students and encouraged greater participation in such competitions. Principal of the school Sanjeev Kumar was also present.
