Umang-2015 ends at Khanpur Kalan college

A four-day festival, “Umang-2015”, concluded on Wednesday at BPS Government Women Medical College, Khanpur Kalan.

Ruchi, 2nd year MBBS student, was adjudged the best sports student of the college. A cultural programme followed by prize distribution by Olympian wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt marked the event. The festival was inaugurated the Director of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Dr Vashudha Gupta on March 1.

Addressing the participants, Dutt exhorted students to take interest in sports activities to keep them physically fit and mentally strong while pursuing their career. “Girls from the state have been performing well in sports for the last few years,” he added. Dr RC Siwach, Director of the College, listed the facilities being provided in the college.
