KS Dhami acquitted in sedition case

 Mohali, December 24

A Mohali court today acquitted KS Dhami, the head of Gur Asra Trust in a nine-year-old sedition case. Dhami has been acquitted by the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Shiv Mohan Garg since there was not enough evidence against Dhami. Defense counsel Ranjodh Singh Sarao said the prosecution failed to prove the charges against his client which paved the way for his acquittal.  Dhami was booked by Mohali Police on March 8, 2006. — TNS
