UPES gets top recognition on employability

Globally renowned higher education analysts QS, has given five star rankings for employability and campus facilities to UPES. According to the latest ratings released, the University has also been rated as one of the best institutes in India for its teaching. UPES, with overall three Stars, is currently the only Indian education institution with live QS Star Ratings.

The Dehradun based private university, widely acknowledged for its unique and innovative courses, has taken the pole position for having a robust employability ecosystem, securing 128 out of 150 points. It has also scored full points in the career service support. Over 300 companies visited the campus this year, hiring over 1200 students from the University.

The QS Stars ratings system is a new international standard identifying excellence and diversity among the world’s universities. The rating system evaluates universities against a range of important performance indicators based on a rating method. Unlike QS Rankings, QS Star Ratings are not dependent on the performance of other institutions and include thorough evaluation of specialist components that may not be easily included in rankings.  — TNS
