Dehradun, August 24
The IBS Business School at ICFAI University, Dehradun, today celebrated “Business Day” to welcome new students at the school. The event started with the lighting of a traditional lamp by Vice Chancellor Dr RK Lalwani.
IBS Business School Dean Prof PK Dash, Dean Faculty of Science and Technology Dr RC Ramola, Principal Faculty of Education Prof Sariti Negi were present on the occasion.
Students participated in a get together and presented songs, dance and mimes.
Some of the prominent performances included Kathak by Oshin of MBA 1st year, solo songs by Anmol and Shivani from MBA first and second year, respectively, Bihu dance by Neetumoni from MBA 1st Year, solo song by Iba and Amrita from MBA IInd year and MBA 1st year respectively, group dance by Shivani and Group and Prashansa and Group from MBA IInd Year, Solo Dance by Swati Kataria and Surbhi from MBA IInd Year, a solo dance by Tanya from MBA 1st Year, dance presentation by Shivani and Nitesh from MBA IInd Year.
A mime on “How excessive use of mobile phone has affected our lives on daily basis” was also presented by Ankit and group. The event was appreciated by all staff members and faculty members of the ICFAI University.
Prof VN Saxena coordinated the event while faculty members of IBS Business School, including Sonia Gambhir, Puneet Garg, Dr Amit Joshi, Dr Abhay Tiwari, Dr Manish Kumar Srivastava and Prof Raghavendra Sharma, also attended the get together.
