Puja Sharma, who plays the role of Chanda in Star Plus’ Mere Angne Mein, is quite versatile. The 25-year-old actress, who hails from Bokaro, Jharkhand, recently enacted a scene, where she had to smoke a cigarette. Puja, who had never smoked before, took up the scene with a positive attitude.
On being asked about it, Puja says, “My character Chanda has turned negative in the show, and she smokes, and drinks in the house. She is very raw, and blunt, and I wanted the same to come out in my shots as well. Hence, I decided to smoke a cigarette like a beedi, and not a normal cigarette.” It’s good to see how actors stretch till great extent for a perfect shot!
