Dehradun, August 22
As many as 77 students of Welham Boys School visited the Regional Science Centre here today. They viewed high definition 3-D film on global warming and planetarium and also toured the interactive exhibits of Himalaya, fun with science and frontiers galleries at the centre.
The students saw the ongoing and proposed programmes of the centre. They were accompanied by their teachers Samir Dhingra and Madhuri Mathews, along with two other teachers from England.
Dr DP Uniyal, in-charge of the Science Centre, said more than 9,000 visitors, including families, foreign tourists, students and science enthusiasts, have visited the centre within six months.—TNS
