Western Union ‘My Stamp’ released

The Western Union Company, a global leader
in money transfer
services, today released ‘My Stamp’ to signify 15 years of collaboration between the company and India Post.
‘My Stamp’ sheetlet, consisting of 12 My Stamps, has been priced at Rs 300. The Sheetlet of 12 ‘My Stamps’ depicts the flow of remittances and the bold Western Union logo alongside the 15 year Western Union and India Post collaboration logo.
Achla Bhatnagar, Chief Post Master General, Chandigarh, Punjab Circle, announced this milestone in the presence of other India Post dignitaries as well as Kiran Shetty, Managing Director and Regional Vice-President, Western Union India and South Asia.
Western Union and India Post together enable consumers in the remote parts of India to receive remittances seamlessly via Western Union services. The collaboration has resulted in fast, convenient and reliable financial access to people across India.
Speaking on the occasion, Kiran Shetty, managing director and regional vice-president, Western Union India and South Asia, said: “This is the first time that the Department of Post has released ‘My Stamp’ to commemorate a milestone with a multinational corporation. The launch of ‘My Stamp’ reinforces Western Union’s commitment to the Indian market and our longstanding relationship with India Post.”
