Applications are invited for The World Bank Group Internship for summer session 2017. The most common fields of study are: Economics, Finance, Human Development (Public Health, Education, Nutrition, And Population), Social Sciences (Anthropology, Sociology), Agriculture, Environment, And Private Sector Development.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the internship, candidates must possess an undergraduate degree and already be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program (pursuing a master’s degree or PhD with plans to return to school in a full-time capacity). Generally, successful candidates have completed their first year of graduate studies or are already into their PhD programmes.

Number of awards offered: 150-200

Merit-cum-means scholarships 

The Swami Dayanand Charitable Education Foundation is offering Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships to meritorious students pursuing engineering/medical/architectural courses. The scholarship program provides financial and other assistance to economically underprivileged students  and 30% of total scholarships offered are reserved for women candidates.

Eligibility:  Students pursuing full time/regular courses in the institute/College recognized by the AICTE/State Education Board/MCI.

A proof of rank will be submitted for applying for scholarships.

Candidate must have secured 70% marks in Class XII.

The gross annual income of a family of the candidate from all sources should not be more than Rs 4 lakh per annum. Students having lowest family income shall be given preference in the ascending order. 

The age limit of the applicant is maximum 25 years as on October 1, 2016.

Sh. Anand Swarup Garg Memorial Scholarships: Rs . 22,500

Sh. Ram Lal Gupta Memorial Scholarships: Rs 20, 000

Smt. Shanti Devi Memorial Scholarships: Rs 17,500

Sh. Ram Ji Lal Memorial Scholarships: Rs 15,000

How to apply: The required documents in a sealed cover should be sent by Speed Post or Registered Post only at the designated address and reach the Foundation office before October 25, 2016.

International Welcome Scholarships

Interested candidates can apply for International Welcome Scholarships at Murdoch University, Perth, Australia. The scholarships are open for students enrolled in bachelor’s, honours or PG coursework degree programmes at the university.

Eligibility: To be eligible for these scholarships, students must meet all three of the below eligibility criteria:

Be an international student  from India.

Be a new international student applicant who applies for, and receives an offer, a conditional offer or a packaged offer to commence studies at Murdoch University; in either: Semester 1 2017; or Semester 2 2017; or Semester 1 2018; or Semester 2 2018; or Semester 1 2019; or Semester 2 2019; and in one of the eligible courses; and the eligible course should be studied internally at one of Murdoch University’s Australian Campuses.

Not be recipients of another scholarship awarded by Murdoch University.

Applicant must have achieved an academic record of 75% or higher in their previous 

IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no band below 6.0

Details: $10,000 for all Business and Governance eligible degree courses $7,000 for all other eligible degree courses

How to apply: To be considered for a scholarship, applications for entry to an eligible course need to be submitted to the international admissions office at least two weeks prior to the start of the semester that the student intends to commence their studies at Murdoch.

Deadline: Deadline varies according to courses.
