The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Member of Parliament from the Patiala constituency, Dr Dharamvir Gandhi, today criticised the attack on a supporter of the party for unearthing an alleged scam related to EWS houses.

Notably, local RTI activist and AAP supporter Satnam Singh, a resident of Daun village, was attacked by some miscreants at Phase I two days ago.

Satnam made a complaint against a builder recently for selling him a flat meant for the EWS category.

Dr Gandhi claimed that the matter came to light when he (Satnam) bought a flat from the private builder. “When he sought information through RTI regarding his flat, he came to know that it was meant for the EWS category,” Dr Gandhi added.
