Yoga, naturopathy institute to come up in P’kula: Vij

The Haryana Government has decided to set up a yoga and naturopathy institute of global standards in Panchkula to promote the natural system of medicine in the state.
Stating this here today, Health Minister Anil Vij said the world’s biggest herbal forest was being developed in Morni to popularise the ayurveda system of medicine and to ensure adequate availability of herbs and medicinal plants. Vij said Ayush University was being set up in Kurukshetra. The work for establishing Baba Khetanath Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital had been completed in Pattikaran village of Mahendragarh district.
So far, the facility was being made available in Ambala, Bhiwani, Gurugram, Hisar, Jind, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Panchkula, Panipat, Palwal, Rewari, Sirsa, Sonepat and Yamunanagar. —TNS
