Youth’s body found in tank

Solan, December 31

The Solan police today found the body of a Nepalese youth, Prem Bahadur (45), in the water tank of a private hotel at the Kotla Nullah.

Additional SP Manmohan Singh said the deceased hailed from the Habban area of Sirmaur and had come to Solan for some court evidence.

The deceased had checked in the private hotel on Thursday and the hotel staff found his belongings lying in his room while he had been missing since yesterday. The staff then informed his son as the deceased had left his cellphone in the room.

The SP added that the postmortem would be conducted tomorrow and that investigations were under way. — TNS
