Yadvindra Public School (YPS), Mohali, defeated AKSIPS, Sector 45, 2-1 to win the inaugural Tribune Trust Football Tournament at Tribune Model School, Sector 29, here today.
YPS broke the deadlock through Agambir in the 14th minute, before Harshit doubled the lead four minutes later.
The solitary goal for AKSIPS came through Arpit Dhir in the 20th minute.
Tribune Model School, Sector 29, beat Kundan International School, Sector 46, 2-1 to finish third.
Harsh scored the opening goal in the 4th minute, while Harshit stretched the lead in the 16th minute. Abhinav reduced the margin to 2-1 for Kundan International School.
