The Punjab Police today transferred 34 senior officers — 13 IPS and 21 PPS.

Among IPS officers Parampal Singh has been posted as IG, Policy and Rules, Punjab, Chandigarh; SK Asthana, IGP, Bathinda Zone; RN Dhoke, IG (Headquarters); Dr Naresh Arora, IG-cum-Director, Special Security Group, Punjab, Chandigarh, with additional charge as IGP (Border), Amritsar; Promod Ban, IGP (Modernisation); MF Farooqui, IGP, (Counter Intelligence), Amritsar; Nilabh Kishore, IG, (Counter Intelligence); Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, IGP, STF (Intelligence); Shive Kumar Verma, IGP (Economic Offence Wing), Vigilance Bureau; AK Mittal, DIG (Border Range), Amritsar; Naveen Singla, SSP, SBS Nagar; and Sukhminder Singh Mann, Commandant, 5th IRB, Amritsar.
