Dehradun, December 4
About 27 Inspector-rank police officers have been promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) posts, according to a statement released by the state police headquarters today. All the promoted officers will now be placed in the Rs 5,400 grade pay and within the pay band of Rs 15,600-39,100.
After the promotion, Shalendra Pratap Singh, posted as Inspector in Intelligence, has been transferred to Udham Singh Nagar as Divisional Officer while Ravindra Singh Toliya, who was posted as Inspector Civil Police, will now be Assistant Commandant in the 40th battalion of PAC. Presently posted as Traffic Inspector, Birendra Prasad Dabral has been sent to IRB Haridwar as Assistant Commandant. Inspector Prakash Singh Devli has been made the new Assistant Commandant of Arms Training Centre at Haridwar.
Those promoted include Himanshu Shah, Rakesh Chandra, Hira Singh Roauthan, Vijendra Dutt Dobhal, Chakradhar Anthwal, Devendra Singh Rawat, Virendra Singh Rawat, Mahesh Chandra Binjola, Shridhar Chandra Badola, Dhansingh Tomar, Vijay Thapa, Kanti Ballabh Pandey, Ganesh Lal, Bhupaal Singh Rawat, Bahadur Singh Chauhan, Devi Dutt, Rajan Singh Rautela, Rajendra Singh Bisht, Raghuveer Singh Aswal and Ashok Kumar Tyagi.
