Best science teacher award for Joshi

Abhinav Joshi, science teacher of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sanour, was honoured with KS Dalla Best Science Teacher Award (Schools) in recognition of his contribution in teaching of science in rural areas and for prompting the students to take initiatives in arresting the deteriorating environmental health.
He was bestowed with a gold medal, a commendation certificate and cash award of Rs 5,000 during the Punjab Science Congress held by Punjab Academy of Sciences at Shaheed Udham Singh Group of Institutions, Tangori. The theme of the congress was ‘Impact of Science and Technology on Environment and human health’.
