Sonepat, November 18
Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ratan today asked officers to complete computerisation of land records in the district within the time frame.
He was reviewing the progress of work in a meeting of revenue officers here.
Ratan directed the officers to deduct penalty amount from the salaries of patwaris who did not complete the exercise within the time frame.
The DC gave one month to patwaris whose pending intkaal (mutation) cases were less than 500. He issued instructions to open a special centre at the Mini-Secretariat for patwaris whose works were not satisfactory and they had to complete the work under the supervision of an officer of the Revenue Department.
The DC stressed bringing of the pendency to zero. He asked the officers to accelerate the pace of process and keep an eye on the performance of computer operators engaged in the exercise. — OC
