DGP inspects construction of women police station at Fatehabad

The construction of the upcoming women police station in Fatehabad will be complete by August 15 and will be handed over to the district police for its inauguration before August 29.

Baljit Singh Sandhu, Director General of Police and Managing Director of the Haryana Police Housing Corporation (HPHC), today visited the station and reviewed its construction.

A state-of-the-art double storey building is coming up on four acres of land near the Police Lines. The building is being set up for Rs 1.87 crore.

Fatehabad SP Sangeeta Kalia, who accompanied Sandhu, said the DGP had announced a new building for the city police station, residences for two DSPs and five inspectors, a community centre and the building of a school for children of policemen in the Police Lines.

Besides, quarters for policemen in Tohana of the district have also been announced today, she said.
