Digitisation of cable TV to be over by Dec 31

Cable TV operators have been asked to complete the digitisation work in the district by the year-end.
A government spokesperson said digitisation work in Mandi, Sundernagar, Rewalsar, Nerchowk, Sarkaghat, Jogindernagar and Karsog had to be completed by December 31 under the Cable Television Network Act.
He said the work was to be completed under the jurisdiction of the District Magistrate within the stipulated time.
He said cable operators working in the designated area must speed up the work and complete it before the end of the year. — TNS
