The Haryana Government has set up the Haryana Governance Reforms Authority (HGRA) under the chairmanship of Director, Institute for Development and Communication (IDC), Pramod Kumar to facilitate access to various development programmes and reduce harassment.

An official spokesman said Justice BB Parsoon and former Chief Secretary PK Chaudhary would be the vice-chairpersons of the authority.

He said other members of the authority included KK Talwar, former director of PGIMER, Chandigarh, retired IAS officer Harbhajan Singh, former DGP SK Sharma and Director (Research) of the IDC Rainuka Dagar. Principal Secretary to CM Rajesh Khullar and Officer on Special Duty to CM Neeraj Daftuar would be the official members of the authority.
