Chamba, January 7
Deputy Commissioner M Sudha Devi has asked the regional hospital management to improve the functioning of its Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS). The DC presided over a meeting of the samiti here yesterday.
Dr Ram Kamal, member secretary, RKS, put forward the samiti’s agenda in the meeting.
“The effective working of the samiti will bring pragmatic results for the well-being of people,” said the DC.
She told the samiti members to scrutinise its activities, so that there was no unproductive expenditure.
To ensure the attendance of the staff in the hospital, bio-metric machines would be purchased.
She said all the necessary formalities should be completed to purchase hospital accessories.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Ashok Gupta and municipal president Anita Thakur were also present in the meeting.
