Naib tehsildar results declared

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) today declared the result of preliminary examination or screening test for the recruitment of nine posts of naib tehsildars in the state.
An HPPSC release issued here today said 208 candidates had been declared qualified in the screening test.
Out of 19,940 candidates provisionally admitted on their claim basis, 3,586 (15.24%) candidates were rejected for not remitting the requisite fee.
The screening test was held on November 23, 2014, in which 11,444 candidates appeared and 8,496 candidates remained absent.
The main written examination will be held on February 25 and 26. The detail is also available on commission’s website www.hp.gov.in/hppsc.
The government seeks to fill four posts in general category, one post of SC and two posts of ST, one each of other backward castes and general ex-servicemen.
